Ravioli are egg pasta filled with various filling. Very famous is the ravioli filled with ricotta and spinach.
In this recipe we used Ravioli filled with Mushrooms.
Ideally the best and freshest ravioli are the ones that you make at home from scratches. But if you don't have the time for that, there are a few good Italian brands of ravioli that you can find in the refrigerate section at the grocery store. Please don't buy canned ravioli.
We used Fresh Black Summer Truffle from Umbria, Italy for this recipe.
